Artist Bio

Geoffrey Detrani is a visual artist and writer. His work has been exhibited in New York, New Jersey and Boston including the former World Trade Center and the Bronx Museum of Art. His artists books are in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and other public and private collections. He has recieved grants, residencies or other support from the New York Foundation for the Arts, the Helen Wurlitzer Foundation, the Brooklyn Council for the Arts, the Vermont Studio Center and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council among others.
He lives and works in New York City.
