There will be a wonderful variety of work in the show from color C_prints, zeroxes, and Iris prints to sepia toned, platinum, infrared, and chromogenic tin types. Oh, we also will include regular gelatin silver! Most of the photographers print directly from their negatives, others enhance their work with computer programs, collage, silver leaf and pastels. An array of subjects will include wild animals, local landscapes, details of fabrics, abandoned theaters, nudes, dramatic flowers, and geysers. Besides exhibiting some wonderful photography, we will be scheduling artist talks to take place each Saturday night of the exhibit from 6pm to 7pm. There is no fee, but the gallery recommends calling for reservations or just to check for last minute changes in the schedule. Each artist participating will give a talk about their technique, past work, or anecdotes on their experiences as professional photographers. This is a marvelous opportunity for all to take a look into the creative process, and an opportunity for aspiring photographers to ask questions and learn from the pros. Here is a list of the photographers scheduled to give artist talks: Jan. 26th Chad Kleitsch and Carole Schulze Feb. 2nd Valerie Shaff and James Bleecker Feb. 9th Tanya Marcuse and Aida Laleian Feb. 16th Gloria Nimetz and Michael Lardizabal Feb. 23rd Joan Alden (for Catherine Hopkins) and Stan Lichens
